Gar Drolma Buddhist Center is a Buddhist temple located in Dayton Ohio. The center was founded in 2002 by His Eminence Garchen Rinpoche, a high lama in the Drikung Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism.

We offer many weekly programs which are intended to assist the spiritual development of experienced practitioners as well as new students. In addition, we regularly host visiting teachers who represent an authentic and unbroken lineage of Buddhist training.

The Fivefold Path of Mahamudra
A Summer Retreat on the Drikung Finger Lakes Retreat Land
Taught by Drupon Rinchen Dorje & Lama Gape

Sponsored by Chicago Ratna Shri, Gar Drolma Buddhist Center, and the White Lotus Society: This year we are co-sponsors of a month long summer retreat on the beautiful retreat land in Canandaigua NY. The fivefold path of mahamudra forms the core practices of the Drikung Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. According to Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang Rinpoche, “The Fivefold Path of Mahamudra should be understood to be a presentation of the entire path of mahamudra, containing all aspects of Buddha’s teachings in five categories which are presented and practiced one after the other.” >For complete information on this event click here.
