We do not have a benefactor or an endowment. Instead, we rely exclusively upon the generosity of individuals like yourself. If you attend Gar Drolma regularly, please consider regular giving through the Friends Program. If you are disabled, unemployed, or financially distressed please contact us for possible discounted membership rates and/or participation in the Gar Bucks program. Our situation is really no different. We rely entirely upon the generosity of many individuals to sustain our daily operations and special events. In short, the future existence of Gar Drolma Buddhist Center rests entirely upon the present generosity of our community.
OUR MONTHLY EXPENSES: We have basic expenses to cover each month such as our gas and electic bills, mortgage, fire insurance and so on. In all these bills amount to aproximately $1500 per month. We rely entirely on the regular weekly donations of people who attend practices at Gar Drolma to meet these costs.
